Great defensive performance but it's typical of our shit cunt luck that we conceded so late on with that sort of goal.
I think that we deserved all three points considering how well that we defended.
I fucking hate Leicester City and their newbie post-96 happy-clappy cunt fans who were nowhere to be seen when they were a pile of shit in the Championship.
Still, the helicopter crash puts everything into perspective. An awful, awful tragedy.

As disappointing as it was to concede like that at the end I still can't feel too disappointed. I think we done really well, we have our best out, away from home to a more than decent team and we still scored and nearly hung onto it.
MP clearly has sorted the defensive issues and honestly if we end the season where we are now I wouldn't be unhappy given everything that's happened.
Like to see Anderson with a season behind him and Pellegrini for that.
And yes, it was a red card all day long.

Part of the reason I want to see VAR so that someone else hopefully looks at It coolly and we get some consistency I’m probably paranoid but I always feel we get little or no benefit of the doubt that others do. See Kompany’s studs through Lennon in the Man City v Burnley game after about 5 mins

It's a clear red, not sure how anyone can see it otherwise.
The thing I'm wondering about is why they're keeping the details of the helicopter crash so quiet. Surely it's easy to find out if you've got a flame grilled chairman or not?

Noble did what Noble does....collects an out ball ....distinctively (purely as has such a lack of pace) always turns back towards our goal . So easy to defend against !... a great love of the club, great passion and fighting qualities has not seen me ever represent the club on the pitch...just a general lack of talent put paid to that.......hmmm .

Hopefully any in the car park would have seen it and got out of the way. It didn't explode straight away.

The Fulham one was worse, but was a yellow.

It was a marginal red in that across the season we're going to see much worse punished with a yellow or a ticking-off.
But I'd have no complaint about it if such fouls were always reds.

I don't think you can blame the ref for the red, but I do blame the idiots who make the rules. Its all fairly innocuous , player overruns the ball, slides in to win it back and connects with the player instead. They've taken away the refs ability to referee the player- there wasn't even a big reaction from the Leicester players, but you can be absolutely sure the ref would have been hauled up if he'd not given it because of the stupid definitions they've put in in recent years.
Prime example on about 80 minutes. Zab already booked, goes in for a block tackle, Gray nicks the ball first and Zab crunches his ankle. But because he wasn't 'out of control' or some other such nonsense nothing happens. In reality, it was every bit as bad (or not bad) as nobles tackle.
As it happens, I think Oliver is one of the better ones.

The people who slag Noble off on this site suffer from a psychological condition that also shows up in their world view and politics. It's got to be something to do with their frustration and low self-esteem, and what they are reacting to is his leadership, passion and genuine love for the club, all qualities they have clearly been conditioned to block out in themselves.

Noble is shit, Slow and shit. It’ll be a pleasure watching a West Ham side not lowed down by his ponderous, backwards passing for the next few games.
While he’s watching the next few games from the stands he can do what he’s best at and have a pop at some fans who don’t like the board.

Our 5 fouls earned a yellow and straight red. Their 17 fouls a single yellow
Just in terms of persistent infringement, that looks very favourable to Leicester

I think that players like Noble and Snods would have had a big role in turning the season around. When the season started we looked clueless and half-hearted. Now most of the players look like they’re playing for each other. Players like Noble would have had a big effect in instilling that passion and team spirit.
He should try to cut out his diving in but you’ve got to admit that it comes from his wholehearted, passionate style, so it’s a bit of swings and roundabouts.
I don’t know if he’s really first team material when everyone’s fit any more, but he’s still one of the most important and influential players at the club.

I think the law includes something like reckless or endangering another player. You can’t go off your feet and launch yourself studs up. My recollection is he went past the ball & tackled Ndidi half way up his shin Worst of all Ndidi got up and was on the pitch to score
Recall that during the Arsenal game when Ndidi blasted one over that the commentator saying he was on a run of 60 odd shots without a goal which I think was the current longest run of Prem players And he hasn’t scored for 18 months THAT is the West Ham way

I thought Noble’s card was harsh, he was going for the ball and could not predict that a foot woud be put down in front of the ball at the very moment he would kick it.

Don’t think there has been anyone disputing Noble’s red. It’s stupid, late , dangerous and out of control and in the modern game it’s a red. So be it. That’s fine if (IF) that is applied across the board. Do I have confidence that if someone does that to one of our players that it will also be a red? Like the Lanzini ban for ‘diving’ referees seem very good at enforcing rules AGAINST us.

Condemnation of Noble's tackle seems universal.
I was thinking how applying today's experience might be beneficial, and I remembered a game at Chelsea 3 years ago.
Costa was already on a yellow (for yapping), it was 1-1, and he went in on Adrian; late, shin high, studs up and Taylor gave nothing more than a foul.
Costa stayed on the pitch and scored the winner, yet Noble's foul was a straight red.
Karma, eh?

Diangana - Still can’t spell his name properly Hernandez - Bye
Antonio - See Hernandez Cresswell - Should be left back Ogbonna - Not Alan Shearer
